Ghat, is the most important bathing Ghat in
Rishikesh. With its modern images of Hindu deities and white sandy beach, the Ghat is ideal for a dip in the holy waters of the
Ganga.
The Bharat Mandir supposed to be the oldest temple in
Rishikesh. The temple's deity is a black stone Vishnu. Basant Panchami is the yearly spring festival here.
Lakshmanjhula, named after the brother of Lord Rama is an old and famous footbridge here and temples line both sides of the river.
