Taj

Mela is organized at the Surajkund village, just

from Leh and is the biggest Gompa of Ladakh. The
Hemis festival is celebrated in honor of Guru Padma
Sambhav's birth anniversary. Guru Padmasambhava, was
the founder of Tibetan Buddhism.
